Setup and operate a computer programmable/controlled punch machine to perform machining operations on a variety of parts involving multiple stamping or cutting operations. 2. May download the proper operating programs and make minor adjustments to maintain product specifications. 3. Regularly check the product to specifications included in the work order packet. 4. Specific quality checks are required by measuring cutouts, length, width, gauge, and material types 5. Usually seeks assistance for resolving difficult operating problems. 6. Must keep area clean and carts from blocking aisles. 7. May perform minor maintenance procedures. 8. Coordinates orders by working closely with shear operator, production schedule, and Line Leader or Plant Manager’s direction. Required Skills: 1. Requires general knowledge of machining techniques and methods, familiarity with numerical control machine operating procedures. 2. A concern for safety and quality control is a requirement. 3. Required PPE must be worn at all times. 4. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and follow company policy and procedures.
