Pupil Services Secretary - Administration (Anticipated)
Business school or Associate Degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a school office is preferred. A minimum grade point average shall be a B or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for high school and/or college grades. Knowledge of Special Education Regulations, IEP Writer, Google Docs, eFinance, and PowerSchool as well as experience in Special Education/Pupil Services is preferred.
An "excels" rating on the secretarial test is required.
Must possess:
- Experience and expertise operating a computer using various software applications such as, but not limited to: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Effective working relationships with students, staff, and the school community
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student matters
- Ability to speak effectively before staff and public
- Pleasant and polite telephone answering skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to handle frequent distractions and multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student and administrative matters
- Ability to work independently as well as with co-workers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
