Purchasing Department

Help keep our HVAC teams ready for every job. At Maynor Service Company, you will purchase equipment, parts, and materials for our Raleigh location and help service and installation teams get what they need on time. This role combines sourcing, vendor negotiation, purchase order management, and inventory coordination.

What You Will Do

· Review HVAC material requests and confirm specifications, quantities, and delivery needs

· Compare vendor quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, freight costs, and delivery schedules

· Prepare purchase orders, obtain required approvals, and place orders for the correct jobs or accounts

· Work with the HVAC manager and field teams to prioritize service and installation material needs

· Track open orders and backorders; resolve delays and coordinate approved substitutions

· Maintain supplier relationships and purchasing records; identify opportunities to reduce costs

· Coordinate deliveries, pickups, returns, warranty claims, and follow-up on vendor credits

· Work with receiving and accounting to reconcile orders, shipments, and invoice discrepancies

· Monitor inventory and replenishment needs with warehouse staff to limit shortages and excess stock

What You Bring

· Experience in purchasing, procurement, or parts and inventory management

· Ability to verify HVAC equipment specifications, part numbers, pricing, and quantities

· Strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills, with dependable follow-through

· Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn purchasing systems

· Ability to balance cost, availability, and quality while managing changing priorities

· Experience purchasing for an HVAC contractor, distributor, or skilled trades operation preferred

· ServiceTitan experience and familiarity with purchase orders and inventory tracking preferred

· Knowledge of HVAC equipment, replacement parts, materials, and local suppliers preferred
