Responsibilities for a Purchasing / Merchandise Assistant include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, enter, revise, and monitor domestic and import purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

• Communicate daily with vendors, Buyers, and cross-functional teams regarding allocations, shipments, purchase order updates, and issue resolution.

• Track late shipments, follow up on outstanding orders, and assist with merchandise shipment discrepancies and vendor chargebacks.

• Coordinate travel arrangements, vendor visits, sample management, reporting, and administrative support for Buyers and Merchandise Managers.

Candidates for the Purchasing /Merchandise Assistant must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Minimum 1-2 years of administrative, merchandising, buying support, or retail operations experience.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, reporting, and data tracking.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
