Join our team as a Purchasing Assistant and play a key role in supporting purchasing operations, vendor returns, equipment repairs, and inventory management. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating with vendors, tracking orders, and ensuring smooth operations between purchasing, warehouse, and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor RMAs (Returns, Repairs, Credits, and Replacements).
• Create and maintain purchase orders for equipment, repairs, and spare parts.
• Track assets, shipments, and vendor returns from start to finish.
• Work closely with warehouse, shipping, lab, and accounting teams to resolve issues and ensure timely processing.
• Maintain accurate records and updates within purchasing/MRP systems.
• Investigate shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, and missing credits.
• Provide status updates to vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support process improvements and follow up on outstanding vendor actions.

Preferred

• Experience with vendor returns (RMAs), purchase orders, or spare parts coordination
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems
• Experience working with warehouse, logistics, or technical service teams
• Intermediate Excel skills including filters, lookups, and reporting
