Job Summary
Seeking a dependable Purchasing Assistant to support daily purchasing and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate with vendors, track orders, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing materials, parts, and supplies.
- Request quotes and compare pricing from vendors.
- Process purchase orders and track order status and delivery dates.
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update inventory information.
- Assist with resolving order discrepancies and delivery issues.
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing department.
- Follow company procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
