This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking deliveries, and partnering with internal teams to ensure materials and services are delivered on time.

Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders, updates, receipts, and other purchasing transactions accurately and timely.
- Monitor open purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, shipping updates, and required documentation.
- Assist in expediting material deliveries to support project schedules and customer commitments.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Track open orders, delivery commitments, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Project Management, Accounting, Transportation, and suppliers to support business operations.
- Support inventory, requisition, and material tracking activities.
- Identify and communicate potential supply, delivery, or documentation issues.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, inventory control, administrative support, customer service, or a related business environment
- Experience using ERP, purchasing, inventory, or business management systems
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Internship, co-op, or coursework related to procurement or supply chain management
