Purchasing Intern - On-Site (Irvine)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Intern to support our procurement operations. This role provides hands-on experience in documentation of purchasing activities and vendor communication. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:

• Assist the purchasing team in documenting purchases.
• Enter purchase orders, update supplier data, and process sales confirmations.
• Help maintain accurate records. 
• Communicate with carriers and internal teams.
• Support special projects and reports as requested by management.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Interest in the food distribution and transportation industry.
• Position would be in office, based out of Irvine, CA.

• Flexible schedule (15-40 hours per week) to accommodate school or other commitments.
• Potential for a full-time role based on performance.
