Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Source and procure all raw materials, MRO supplies, equipment, and services at the best cost/value.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels using min/max inventory management and just-in-time purchasing strategies.
• Analyze system reports and inventory trends to forecast purchasing needs.
• Create, manage, track and receive purchase orders while maintaining accurate purchasing records.
• Monitor delivery schedules and proactively communicate delays or supply chain issues.
• Develop relationships with vendors and manage costs
• Process small package shipments with UPS WorldShip software.Create Bills of Lading for LTL shipment and export documents as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years purchasing experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems is highly desirable.
