Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Sources, plans, and schedules movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related material through production and inventory processes.

• Identifies raw material, component, and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.

• Ensures materials move through the procurement process cradle to grave without issue.

• Analyzes data in front-end procurement to determine price factors and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and schedule requirements.

• Analyzes backlog data in back-end procurement to resolve procurement blockages and constraints with functional areas and outside vendors.

• Reviews proposals, selects or recommends suppliers, follows up orders, approves payment, and maintains records of material movement.

• Coordinates with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel for procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services.

• Serves as primary GSC planning point of contact for assigned programs and supports product team, schedule, configuration control, program kick-off, and assessment meetings.

• Manages material delivery timelines and expediting status, identifies critical or urgent procurement, and ensures timely PO placement and delivery.

• Supports invoicing and accounts payable problem resolution with functional teams and buyers.

Requirements:

• Must have a Secret clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Excel knowledge including V-lookups and data analysis.

• Ability to manage and operate multiple reports via Excel.

• Ability to gather and present real-time team-wide performance metrics.

• Ability to prepare leadership presentations and support proposal efforts.

• Ability to support product team schedule, configuration control, program kick-off, and program assessment meetings.

• Ability to support logistics, receiving, and finance department meetings as primary GSC point of contact.

• Ability to identify critical or urgent procurement and ensure timely PO placement and delivery.

• Ability to manage material delivery timelines and expediting status.

• Ability to support front-end and back-end procurement efforts and coordinate with functional areas and outside vendors to resolve procurement issues.
