Purchasing Coordinator - Houston
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to manage purchase orders, coordinate with the sales team, and communicate shipping information to customers.
Responsibilities- Process purchase orders using QuickBooks (QB).
- Receive purchasing information from the sales team to determine items that need to be ordered.
- Review and track order acknowledgments from vendors.
- Prepare and send customer correspondence with shipping information and order updates.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and order records in QuickBooks.
- Learn and utilize vendor-specific ordering systems to place orders directly.
- Ensure all vendor orders and purchasing information are accurately entered into QuickBooks.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Qualifications & Skills- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
- Previous experience in purchasing, order processing, or administrative support preferred.
