About the Company

M

McElroy Metal

Our parent company, McElroy Metal, began manufacturing metal building components in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1963. After years of selling materials to large contractors and building manufacturers, the first Metal Mart location was opened in Austin, Texas in 1985 as a retail outlet, open to the public. The plan was (and is today) to cater to the metal component needs of the do-it-yourself homeowner, contractor, farmer/rancher, local industry, municipalities and service businesses. Since then, we have grown to over 40 locations in 5 states. We are proud of our growth and attribute it to the combination of great customers, great products and great employees. No project is too large or small. Whether you are building a carport, roofing your dream home, or constructing a building we welcome all. We offer a variety of product options to fit your budget and application needs. Our sales personnel are experienced, knowledgeable and prepared to help from the start through the project completion.
