Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer – Selenium / Playwright / Cucumber for their Tampa, FL location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Build UI automation solutions using Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Develop behavior-driven test automation using Cucumber or similar BDD frameworks.
- Create and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications, APIs, databases, and batch processes.
- Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and test plans.
- Validate REST APIs through functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform database validation and data reconciliation activities using Oracle SQL.
- Execute testing for batch jobs and end-to-end workflow processes.
- Manage defects, test results, and release readiness activities.
- Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilize Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and related SDLC tools to support testing and release activities.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple locations and provide guidance on testing best practices.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and quality engineering processes.
