The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Selenium and Playwright, excellent programming skills, and proven experience leading QA teams and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategies, automation frameworks, and testing standards.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Lead functional, regression, and API testing activities for web applications and REST services.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Manage test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting using Jira.
- Mentor QA engineers, review automation code, and promote best practices in software quality.
- Apply performance testing concepts and modern web architecture principles to improve application quality and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation.
- 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership or management role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium and Playwright.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java.
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing and modern web application architecture.
- Experience with Jira for defect tracking, test management, and reporting.
- Understanding of performance testing concepts and software quality engineering practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the financial services or banking domain.
- Experience with enterprise-scale web applications and large automation frameworks.
