About Your Business Area/Department
The Hospitality Solutions (HOS) division delivers industry‑leading technology that powers hotel operations, distribution, and connectivity worldwide.
Within HOS, the Channel Management & Distribution (CMD) area is responsible for connectivity between hotel systems and hundreds of distribution partners, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high‑quality communication of availability, rates, inventory, reservations, and content across global channels.
Summary of the role
As a QA Engineer within the Hospitality Solutions division, you will join our specialized Americas Quality team responsible for investigating, reproducing, and resolving CMD (Channel Management Distribution) and CDE (Channel Data Exchange) defects raised by customers and internal stakeholders.
You will work closely with Product, Development, and Global QA teams to ensure the highest standards of quality across mission‑critical hotel distribution components. This role provides direct support during the Americas time zone, contributing significantly to stability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
In this role you'll
Defect Analysis & Troubleshooting
Analyze, triage, and reproduce CMD/CDE defects reported by customers, Delivery, or Support teams.
Perform functional and technical investigation using API calls, logs, monitoring tools, and system traces.
Validate fix proposals and coordinate retests with global engineering teams.
Ensure timely response and prioritization of issues impacting customers in North and South America.
Quality Assurance & Testing
Execute manual and automated tests across CMD components (API, UI, and backend services).
Contribute to regression coverage by maintaining and improving existing test suites.
Support execution of NRTs (Non‑Regression Tests) and help increase automation stability and quality.
Work with developers to reproduce issues, validate patches, and improve defect escape rates.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QAEs, and functional experts across global sites.
Participate in Quality Community initiatives and knowledge‑sharing forums.
Identify process, tooling, or coverage gaps contributing to defects and propose improvements.
Maintain clear documentation for test cases, troubleshooting steps, and system behavior in Confluence.

Understanding of hotel distribution concepts such as:
ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory)
Shopping flows
Reservations
Channel configuration
Experience in defects validation or supporting customer‑reported issues is strongly preferred.
