About Our ClientOur client is a rapidly growing and highly respected General Contractor specializing in DSA and LAUSD construction projects throughout Southern California. With a strong reputation for delivering complex educational and public-sector projects, they are committed to quality, safety, and long-term client partnerships.Job DescriptionOur QA/QC Manager will be responsible for:Monitor implementation of the project Quality Management System through routine site assessments, audits, and quality reviews.Conduct daily field inspections to verify compliance with approved construction methods, specifications, and quality standards.Meet with subcontractors prior to mobilization to review approved submittals, outstanding RFIs, material procurement status, and quality requirements.Establish and monitor subcontractor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance throughout various project phases.Develop, communicate, and enforce QA/QC requirements for subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.Track and follow up on quality-related action items while maintaining status logs and documentation.Create, manage, and monitor project punch lists to ensure timely completion of corrective work.Review ongoing and completed work to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and workmanship standards.Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with vendors, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership representatives.Prepare and review testing and commissioning procedures and method statements.Ensure all quality documentation is maintained and properly organized throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate preparation of final turnover packages, including QA/QC records, testing reports, commissioning documentation, and project closeout materials.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
