QA Technician 2nd Shift

This is a fast-paced position heavily involved with the mathematical and technical areas. The QA Technician serves as an important supporting member of the Production Team.Schedule: 2:45 pm to 1:30 am, Monday thru SaturdayDAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITESRoutine sampling and testing of Fresh Express product and materials throughout shiftAbility to recognize, identify, document and communicate all analytical quality and food safety evaluations, processing checks, and out-of-spec samplesConfirm adjustments are made to ensure compliance of specificationsRecheck product following adjustments in order meet the highest quality expectationsSupport leadership in GMP compliance throughout the facilityOther duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDEmployee is required to stand for prolonged periods of time (duration of the shift, 10 hours or more); perform repetitive motions throughout shift such as: push/pull/lift and move up to 25 pounds, bend continuously, & reach with hands and arms; occasionally crouch, kneel, stoop and/or crawl to pick up product. This position requires ability to climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift and keep up in a fast-passed environment. *The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis is a fast-passed manufacturing warehouse setting. Employee is routinely exposed to wet/cold conditions of roughly 34 degrees Fahrenheit.
