PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Assurance Technician will Perform functions of QA/QC, Batching, Ingredient storage area maintenance, Process equipment Sanitation.
Reports to Production/QC Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 1yrs in food industry, food safety, and/ or QA experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Able to Work in Team-Oriented Environment
· Organized and detail oriented
· Knowledge GMP
· Basic computer skills
· 2pm-10pm EVENING SHIFT
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain Quality Documentation in orderly fashion for Management Review.
· Maintain sanitation log and sanitation chemical inventory log.
· Ensure equipment is calibrated and documented
· Assist in SQF program and employees training
· Follow GMP’s and Food Safety Guidelines
· Report any urgent Quality or Food Safety Incident to Quality Assurance and Plant/Production manger
· Conduct daily pre-operational inspection
· Maintain testing records
· Perform basic data entry
· Oversee sanitation procedures
