Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Playwright Test Automation SME to design and implement robust automated testing solutions, define effective test strategies, and guide application teams in improving software quality. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Playwright, preferably using TypeScript or JavaScript, along with expertise in automation frameworks, test coverage optimization, and stakeholder consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Assess applications and recommend appropriate test strategies, coverage, and automation approaches.
Guide application teams on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing requirements.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing effort and improve automation coverage.
Establish reusable automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing best practices.
Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams to integrate quality throughout the SDLC.
Analyze existing manual test suites and identify suitable automation candidates to maximize return on investment.
Recommend improvements to testing processes, efficiency, and overall quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is preferred.
Expertise in test strategy, test design, and regression testing.
Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Ability to assess applications and recommend effective automation strategies.
Excellent stakeholder communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with development, business, and QA teams.
