Perform essential laboratory support activities, including maintaining consumable and material inventory, disposing of expired reagents, identifying and reporting equipment-related issues
- Order laboratory reagents, consumables, and office supplies in SAP, restock workstation consumables, and organize reagents by expiration date using a first-in, first-out approach
- Maintain cleanliness of laboratory equipment, and perform daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning activities as needed
- Assist with receipt and documentation of incoming samples, reagents, and chemicals
- Perform laboratory activities in accordance with applicable SOPs and cGMP requirements
- Follow good documentation practices when recording activities in laboratory equipment logbooks
- Handle liquid nitrogen-frozen samples and chemicals as needed
- Immediately report safety incidents to the supervisor
- Collaborate with the supervisor and team members to prioritize tasks and assignments
- Recommend improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity
- Support archival of Quality Control data, including preparing binders and scanning documents
- Review test method data and supporting documentation as needed
- Perform equipment maintenance testing as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
High School Diploma or GED and completion of college-level course work in biological science or related science major
- Know basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have good organization skills.
- Must be flexible with working hours
- Knowledge of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) is a plus
- Good verbal and communication skills. Able to maintain good interaction with peers and leadership within Quality Control
- Physically able to lift LN2 freezer rack or move up to 20L buffer if needed as laboratory activities.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
