Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support a federal construction project. This dual-role position is responsible for managing the project’s quality control program while also serving as the on-site safety lead.
The successful candidate will have prior experience working on federal construction projects and a strong understanding of government quality and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Implement and manage the Three Phases of Control process.
- Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.
- Review and manage subcontractor submittals.
- Maintain submittal logs and daily QC reports.
- Lead QC meetings and prepare documentation.
- Submit and track RFIs.
- Coordinate system testing and commissioning documentation.
- Manage punch list and closeout processes.
- Perform ongoing inspections of work-in-progress.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction quality control experience on federal projects.
- Experience working in regulated government construction environments.
- Strong working knowledge of federal construction safety standards.
- Current Construction Quality Control certification required.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification required.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
