Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst supports manufacturing by crafting and maintaining production formulas in the SAP ERP environment. The person works with plant Quality and Production as well as R&D staff to optimize production formulas to suit individual plant needs.

This role will report directly to the Senior Quality Manager 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Convert R&D laboratory formulas to large-scale manufacturing versions individualized by plant.
  • Support Strategic purchasing initiatives through formula maintenance
  • Analyze and Interpret laboratory and manufacturing data
  • Critically observe paint manufacturing to drive process improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of manufacturing vessels and equipment for US/CA plants
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or a related area is preferred. A degree in a natural science (biology, physics, other) is acceptable with appropriate experience.
  • 5 year's of paint industry experience is desired, experience with architectural paint and stain products is preferred.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Travel to all plants required, desire to have a Passport or acquire one.
