Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer II
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months, with the possibility to extend.
Job Description :
- Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development.
- Serve as the primary quality assurance resource to department for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
- Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in and providing Quality oversight for technical projects and equipment, process, and test method qualification/validation projects.
- Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
- Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.
- Assist in process certification.
- Develop, execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
- Report on quality issues, trends and losses.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Analyze the root causes and implement corrective actions for processes or parts that have concerns.
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance system development and implementation such as ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001, SQF, ISO 14001, QS 9100, etc.
- Certifications may include ISO 9001 or similar standard.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar as applicable to the job scope.
