SharpSearch is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector. This position is with SharpSearch's client, not an internal position at SharpSearch.

About the role

Inspect sheet metal parts, machined components, and electromechanical assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. You'll perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, verify dimensions against engineering drawings, and help ensure products meet customer and industry requirements.

What you'll do

Inspect sheet metal parts, machined components, and mechanical and electromechanical assemblies for dimensional accuracy, defects, and workmanship issues.

Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools to check parts against specifications.

Read engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and work instructions to determine inspection requirements.

Identify and document nonconformances, record inspection results, and support corrective actions.

What you'll bring

At least two years of manufacturing quality inspection experience.

Strong ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.

Proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Experience with mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.

Additional experience that would be helpful

Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), FabriVISION, or other vision-based inspection systems.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environments.

CMM, FabriVISION, vision-system experience, and ISO 9001/AS9100 familiarity are preferred, not required.
