We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Playwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively in work environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure software quality.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Mentor junior QA team members on best practices in automation testing.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to QA automation.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Playwright for web automation testing.
Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing test scripts.
Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe.
Experience with performance testing tools.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in QA automation testing.
Proven experience in developing automated tests using Playwright.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

The pay range for this role is $110,000- $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
