Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Manual Tester in Milpitas, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases including functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Validate application behavior across web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
  • Execute automated test suites when required and analyze test failures
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and test documentation
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to reproduce issues and verify fixes
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Perform regression testing to ensure stability after changes or fixes

Job Scope:

  • Perform both black-box testing (user-focused validation) and white-box testing (leveraging system knowledge when applicable)
  • Ensure applications meet functional requirements, usability standards, and quality benchmarks before release
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
