Job Description

Seeroo IT Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Remote Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our innovative team. As a QA Engineer at Seeroo IT Solutions, you will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications and digital products. You will play an important role in identifying software defects, improving application performance, and ensuring that our products meet business requirements and customer expectations.

You will collaborate with software developers, project managers, product designers, and other technical teams to develop testing strategies, identify potential issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with manual and automated testing, and the ability to identify and resolve complex software quality issues.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, errors, and software inconsistencies.
Test web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and software systems.
Identify, document, track, and report software defects and technical issues.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
Ensure software applications meet quality standards, security requirements, and performance expectations.
Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
Participate in agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical meetings.
Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and quality metrics.
Stay updated with emerging QA technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, QA Analyst, Software Tester, or similar role.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
Experience with both manual and automated software testing.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Understanding of databases, web technologies, mobile applications, and software development life cycles.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices is a plus.
