Description

Position Summary:The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role performs inspections, product testing, documentation, and process monitoring to ensure compliance with company quality standards, GMP, and food safety requirements.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goodsMonitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, food safety regulations, and company quality standardsConduct product sampling, testing, and maintain accurate quality documentationVerify product specifications, weights, labels, packaging, and coding accuracyIdentify quality issues, non-conformances, and communicate findings to Production and Quality ManagementDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality recordsAssist with internal audits, quality investigations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and food safetyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policiesJob Requirements:Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Technician in a food manufacturing or food processing environment preferredKnowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality assurance principlesExperience performing product inspections, sampling, testing, and documentationAbility to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actionsStrong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality documentation systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
