Quality Assurance Testing Analyst (Senior)

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $61 - $64

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Testing Analyst to support enterprise application development initiatives by leading and executing complex software testing efforts. This role is responsible for ensuring application quality through comprehensive test planning, execution, validation, and process improvement activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong testing expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for new and existing applications.
• Execute manual testing activities and analyze results to identify defects, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with development, business, and project teams to ensure software solutions meet functional and quality requirements.
• Analyze testing data and trends to recommend enhancements that improve user experience and system performance.
• Maintain detailed testing documentation and ensure adherence to established testing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Create, monitor, and report on quality metrics to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform post-production validation and assist with release verification activities.
• Support and coordinate non-functional testing initiatives, including performance, security, and other specialized testing efforts.
• Lead complex testing projects and serve as a subject matter expert for testing methodologies and best practices.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective testing solutions.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior team members.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

One of the following:

• High School Diploma or GED with 12+ years of Quality Assurance/Software Testing experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of Quality Assurance/Software Testing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of software development and implementation methodologies.
• Strong understanding of test case design, testing strategy development, and defect management.
• Experience with test management and lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, ALM, or similar platforms.
• Experience leading testing efforts for complex enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of performance, security, and other non-functional testing practices.
