A Day in the Life of a Quality Control Analyst
The Quality Control Analyst's Day starts with a sharp focus on precision and performance. From reviewing quality metrics and conducting detailed product inspections to analyzing test results for defects or deviations, every day is an opportunity to ensure excellence at every stage of production. You'll investigate inconsistencies, document findings, and implement corrective actions that keep operations aligned with regulatory requirements and company standards. Whether you're maintaining compliance documentation, monitoring testing procedures, or contributing insights that drive continuous improvement, your work will have a direct impact on product integrity and operational success. Key Responsibilities:
Own SLA performance tracking and drive compliance
Review and approve project documentation and invoicing for accuracy
Monitor QC standards, SOP adherence, and approval protocols
Conduct audits and implement corrective actions to improve consistency
Identify errors, resolve issues, and support performance coaching
Partner with leadership to pilot process improvements and scale best practices
Deliver performance reporting with actionable operational insights
Update SOPs, job aids, and reference materials to strengthen compliance
Serve as the liaison between QC, Operations, Project Administration, and Leadership
Proactively identify risks, compliance gaps, and training opportunities
Maintain accurate project updates across ticketing systems
Ensure documentation integrity for reporting, invoicing, and contractual compliance
Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual errors and improve efficiency
Support escalations while meeting critical deadlines
Travel up to 5% for conferences and continuing education opportunities
Experience & Education:
1-3 years' experience in construction, restoration, property management, legal or insurance industry
Experience with ticketing/workflow systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
High School diploma or equivalent years of experience
