Quality Control Color ShaderThis is an onsite position in Cleveland, OH on the 3rd shift. You will provide a high level of accuracy in color shading for automotive paints.ResponsibilitiesData entry into color portal and quality databaseCustomer communicationPreparing pre-ship samples for customersUtilize color measurement instruments and software to ensure accurate color shadingShading in-process batches to meet customer specificationsFacilitate batch approval processQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required2+ years of experience with color including understanding color theory, color perception, and color management principlesMust be proficient in using color management instruments and software for color analysis and shadingFamiliarity with various color shading tools and techniques is requiredCompensationThe base salary range for this position is $57,200 to $70,000.Equal Employment OpportunityPPG provides equal opportunity to all candidates and employees.
