Overview of the Position:
Receive parts from customers and/or vendors, and other material from suppliers. Inspect all items for damage. Perform necessary inspection procedures to insure that incoming parts meet all required specifications and standards. Prepare repair documents utilizing computer software and required procedure(s). Become competent in the use of measuring devices and hand tools. Become familiar with ISO policy and procedures. Maintain inventory and appropriate stock levels.
Base salary range: $21 to $24 hourly, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health/dental/vision/Life and disability insurance, 401(k) match up to 6%, and Vacation, sick days, flexible work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Log in, inspect and analyze parts that are shipped/mailed in from other companies or clients for service.
- Read repair instructions and produce repair (Traveler) documents.
- Contact customer for information, etc. Be able to communicate with internal and external customers.
- Requisition detail components and maintain inventory/stock levels.
- Work at a computer console entering parts. Become familiar with computer software system.
- Maintain inventory of rotable material and stock verification.
- Assist other inspectors and employees as needed.
- Assists in the management of the Quality Management System to assure each department has documented there procedures and the procedures are implemented and effective. Utilize and implement standard work in each department.
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Must have H.S. Diploma or GED

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
