Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing

Pay: $18.00–$19.50 per hour
Shifts Available: 1st Shift and 3rd Shift
Experience: Previous quality control or inspection experience preferred

Job Summary

We are hiring a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help ensure materials and manufactured products meet quality standards. This position involves inspecting materials and finished products, identifying defects, documenting quality issues, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and producing quality products.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, products in production, and finished goods for defects.
• Check materials and products against established quality standards.
• Identify, document, and report quality issues.
• Take photographs and complete basic inspection reports as needed.
• Use a computer to enter inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Assist the quality team with maintaining product and packaging standards.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to complete inspection documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with JDE or other manufacturing software is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle heavier materials, with assistance or appropriate equipment as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the facility during inspections.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and moderate to loud noise.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
