QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTORS

Printing Press / Flexible Packaging Manufacturing

Location: Hillside, NJ 07205
Shifts: Day Shift & Night Shift
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience
Position: Full-Time | On-Site

Recruit1 is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors for a printing and flexible packaging manufacturing facility in Hillside, New Jersey.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and can identify printing defects before they become costly production problems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect printed materials during production and verify quality against approved samples and customer specifications.
• Check for color inconsistencies, misregistration, smudges, streaks, missing print, and other defects.
• Inspect both sides of printed materials when required.
• Identify, mark, document, and report defective rolls or sections using approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, production records, and quality documentation.
• Communicate quality issues promptly to press operators and supervisors.
• Assist with identifying recurring defects and preventing waste.
• Follow all workplace safety and quality-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, printing, packaging, or quality-control experience preferred.
• Flexographic printing experience is a strong advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors and identify visual defects.
• Ability to understand production specifications and complete inspection documentation.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform visual inspections throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts.

Training may be provided for qualified candidates with relevant manufacturing experience.
