Quality Control Manager

gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Tulsa, OK area. Our client is seeking a QA / QC Manager to lead the quality program and drive consistent, compliant fabrication.

Position Responsibilities:

- Lead the company quality program and quality team

- Maintain AISC certification and other program requirements

- Develop and maintain quality procedures, WPSs, and inspection plans

- Drive corrective and preventive actions

- Partner with production and project management on quality performance

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Oversee inspections, testing, and documentation

- Lead internal audits and support customer and AISC audits

- Manage welder qualifications and WPS/PQR records

- Track quality KPIs and report to leadership

- Train employees on quality standards

Position Skills:

- 5+ years of quality experience in structural steel or metal fabrication

- AWS CWI certification strongly preferred

- Experience with the AISC certification program

- Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and related codes

- Leadership and training experience
