Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Quality Control Packagers in Ashland.

You'll be responsible for checking finished products as they come through manufacturing, identifying defects, verifying counts and specifications, and properly packing approved products.

Available Shifts

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 /hour based on shift

Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs.

What You'll Do

• Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues
• Verify finished products meet established specifications
• Count and confirm quantities for accuracy
• Separate acceptable products from defective products
• Pack approved products according to established requirements
• Complete required quality and production documentation
• Communicate quality concerns or product issues to machine operators and supervisors
• Work alongside machine operators to keep finished products moving efficiently
• Follow established quality, safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Ability to follow written instructions and quality standards

• Ability to stand and stay active throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• High school diploma or GED required

Previous manufacturing, inspection, quality, packing or assembly experience is helpful, but not required.
