Location: Walton Hills, OH
Pay: $20.00–$21.00/hour + $0.75/hour shift differential for 2nd Shift
Shift: 1st Shift | 10:00 AM–10:00 PM | Monday–Thursday
2nd Shift | 10:00 PM–10:00 AM | Monday–Thursday
Hire Sync is hiring Quality Control / Production Associates for an established manufacturing company in Walton Hills, OH. This is a hands-on role combining quality inspection, measurement, production support, and material handling in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment.
If you have manufacturing experience and are comfortable using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures, this is an excellent opportunity to put those skills to work while enjoying a 4-day work week.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect plastic sheeting for surface defects and quality concerns
- Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures to verify product specifications
- Check sheet length, width, thickness, and squareness
- Measure product color using a color meter
- Perform shrinkage testing using an oven
- Accurately document inspection results and production information
- Count and verify quantities of plastic sheets
- Assist with inventory and cycle counting
- Operate a tow motor to move materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with additional production and warehouse responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to accurately read a micrometer and calipers
- Experience using gauges and tape measures
- Basic shop math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a tow motor
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory and cycle counting
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Experience with circular saws, band saws, and nail guns is a plus
- Plastic extrusion or plastics manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to continuously lift up to 20 lbs.
