Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Quality Control Supervisor to join our team.
A Quality Supervisor in a warehouse is responsible for overseeing product quality, compliance with standards, and ensuring warehouse processes meet customer and regulatory requirements. The role bridges operations, inventory, and quality assurance. Heres a breakdown:
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Assurance
Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with company/customer standards.
Enforce proper handling, labeling, and packaging practices.
Lead audits (internal and external).
Team Supervision
Train and oversee QC (quality control) staff or warehouse associates performing inspections.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
Ensure safety and compliance protocols are followed.
Process & Compliance
Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for warehouse quality practices.
Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, GMP, or customer-specific standards
Investigate non-conformances, document issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting & Metrics
Track KPIs such as defect rates, audit scores, and returns.
Prepare reports for warehouse/operations management.
Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing quality control.
Knowledge of WMS systems and inventory processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Leadership and training abilities.
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods is a plus.
Typical Requirements
High school diploma; bachelors degree often preferred (supply chain, logistics, QA, or related).
25+ years in warehouse/QA environment.
Supervisory or lead experience.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Warehouse Supervisor Exprience Quality control
