Looking for a Quality Control Supervisor for supporting a major construction project. This role oversees quality inspections for mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping, helping ensure installations meet project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate onsite inspections with construction teams and subcontractors.
Review inspection requests, drawings, procedures, and inspection and test plans.
Identify deficiencies, communicate corrective actions, and track resolution.
Maintain inspection records, quality documentation, nonconformance reports, and punch lists.
Monitor subcontractor quality activities and report inspection progress to the Quality Manager and project leadership.
Relevant Background
Construction quality control experience involving mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and applicable ASME/API codes.
Experience coordinating inspections and overseeing subcontractor quality.
Strong documentation, communication, and follow-through skills.
Relevant welding or inspection credentials, including CWI, should be highlighted when applying.
