    Description

    Quality Control Team Leader

    Location: Fort Worth Alliance, TX

    Department: Quality Assurance

    Reports To: QA Supervisor Employment

    Type: Full-Time

    Position Summary

    The Quality Leader is responsible for overseeing the quality inspection team, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements. This role includes managing personnel, scheduling, training, and driving process improvements while maintaining high standards of product quality and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead the quality inspector team to ensure accurate and timely inspections.

    Manage personnel scheduling, including shift planning and overtime arrangements.

    Provide training and mentorship to quality inspectors to enhance skills and performance. Monitor inspection processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

    Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

    Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management review.

    Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company quality policies, and safety regulations.

    Maintain and organize quality documentation, inspection records, and reports.

    Support data entry and update quality-related information in internal systems.

    Track progress of corrective actions and improvement projects, providing status updates. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, procurement requests, and communication with other departments.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection or related roles. High school diploma or above.

    Basic knowledge of quality tools (Pareto, Histogram, Check Sheets, etc.).

    Familiarity with the electronics industry.

    Basic knowledge or experience in electronics assembly or product inspection.

    Ability to follow visual inspection criteria and work instructions accurately.

    Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail for identifying defects.

    Open to learning company-specific quality standards and participating in ongoing training.

    Reliable, disciplined, and able to work in a team-oriented production environment.

    Working Conditions

    Combination of office and production floor environment.

    Requires standing and walking for extended periods during inspections.

    Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs.

    Exposure to manufacturing noise and machinery; PPE provided.
