Job Description
A world leader in Biotechnology and Life Sciences, is seeking a Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support at Frederick, MD.
Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Pay Rate: $21.89/hour
Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K
Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM–2:00 AM (4 days × 10 hours)
Main Responsibilities
Receive samples, verify documents, and enter details into LIMS.
Label, process, store, and organize samples.
Coordinate sample transfers and shipping to laboratories.
Maintain sample storage areas and review laboratory records.
Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
Coordinate with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and other departments.
Assist with deviations, investigations, and meetings.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, OR
Associate degree + 2 years of relevant laboratory/QC experience, OR
High school diploma + 3 years of relevant laboratory/QC experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of GMP in a QC laboratory.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, and related applications.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
