The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skillsWhat You will Do:Ensuresmanufacturingand quality processes are clearly defined and communicated frommanufacturingengineering to the shop floor via technical instructions andquality controlcharts.Develops and implements product-specific quality processes utilizing sound engineering judgment and methodologiesEnsures quality requirements are met during componentmanufacturingto internal and customer requirementsPerform process audits and runscontinuous improvementprojectsDetect and track non-conformances and lead the process ofroot cause analysisand corrective and preventive measure definitionSupport the repair business in all quality aspects as well as all thermal spray quality issues within the Combustion departmentWhat You Will Bring:Candidate should have BS in Engineering orManufacturingrelated degreeAbility to applycontinuous improvementmethods to increasemanufacturingquality, efficiency, reliability, and cost effectivenessFamiliarity with gas turbine combustion hardware – specifically transition ducts and combustor baskets and the methods ofmanufacturingthese parts i.e.CNC programming/machining, welding/fabrication, laser drilling, andthermal spray coatingsExperience with project andschedule managementPreferred candidate should be familiar with Lean and orSix Sigmaphilosophies and their application inprocess capabilityand improvementMust be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPreferred at least 5 years' experience in the energy ormanufacturingindustry, however would be open to new graduates with the correct ambition and skill sets.Pay Range: ($78k to $85k).Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
