Senior Product Quality Engineer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support Passive Product Quality working primarily with customers in China and throughout Asia. They will also provide operations support for Asia in terms of SAP inventory control, running metrics report for the team, release of shipping holds in SAP and providing general guidance and training to the team in Quality inventory control. They will work closely with our supplier Quality Engineer Su Sheng to ensure material quality meets both MACOM operations and customer requirements.

Specific responsibilities:

• Be first line of contact for Passive product customer quality issues including monitoring of New Product Development quality evaluations.
• Customer RMA approvals.
• Have final review and sign off on customer facing Agile RET reports

CRB reviews and any subsequent PCN content creation and distribution.

• Identify and initiate actions that will result in continuous improvement of the Quality System, products and processes.
• Create and publish metrics reports and scorecards for the Quality team to help drive internal improvements, including MRB, Open RMAs, Open RETs and standard metrics Manage and lead the control of rejected and customer returned material for the International team in SAP.
• Ensure all relevant SAP inspection lot releases required are made in a timely manner.
• Ensure all HW shipment paperwork is verified vs the checklist prior to shipment for Asia shipments.
• Provide guidance and training to the team, new hires and others on control of Quality owned material.
