    Quality Inspector Stamping IndustryLocation: Elgin, IL Employment Type: 1st shift - Temp to hire 

    We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in the stamping industry to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct dimensional layouts and inspections of stamped components
    • Manage and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and submissions
    • Assist with inventory control and stock audits
    • Participate in training initiatives for new hires and team members
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
    • Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with customer specifications

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in metal stamping or related manufacturing processes
    • Strong understanding of PPAP, dimensional verification, and quality core tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA)
    • Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 standards is a plus
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
