    Job Description:


    _The_ _Quality Inspector_ _is_ _responsible for_ _ensuring the quality of all products produced_ _meet_ _agreed upon standards and expectations._


    _This job description lists major areas of_ _responsibility_ _and_ _additional_ _job activities may be added at any time._


    Hours for this position are Sunday through Friday 11pm-7am


    Duties and Responsibilities


    + Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing,UPC scanners, paint thicknesstestersand other lab equipment


    + OperateCMM and VisionSystemInspection equipment


    + Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports(NCMR’s) daily, as needed


    + Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits


    + Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material


    + Ability to navigate document repository web page tolocateinspection reports,blue printsand other quality documents


    + Develop andmaintaineffective working relationships within team environment


    + Perform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion,arithmeticand units of measureconversion


    + Problem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions isrequired


    + Consciouslyabide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment


    Education and Experience


    + High School or GED diplomarequired


    + One (1) year ofpreviousquality technicianexperiencerequired


    + Understanding of metrology fundamentals


    + Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook


    + Excellentoral and written communication skills


    + Ability to work independently and as a part of a team


    + Ability to read blueprints
