ENVIRONMENT
Quality & Operations

Join a growing manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment serving the respiratory and sleep-health markets. The Quality Inspector II partners with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Production, and R&D to verify that components and finished products meet dimensional, visual, labeling, and documentation requirements. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an initial contract term of approximately six months.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision mechanical and electronic components.
  • Complete receiving, sub-assembly, labeling, and finished-product acceptance inspections.
  • Select and use the appropriate measurement tools, fixtures, and inspection methods.
  • Create clear, accurate inspection records for Production and R&D.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot nonconforming material.
  • Develop inspection methods, fixturing, and CMM programs as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of receiving inspection experience within a quality-controlled, GMP environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T and general mechanical aptitude.
  • Hands-on skill with calipers, height gauges, microscopes, gauge blocks, optical comparators, and related fixtures.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable work habits, and effective cross-functional communication.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Prefered: Two-year technical degree • Medical device experience • CMM programming/operation • GD&T, CMM, or IPC certification

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily office/manufacturing quality work with regular computer and inspection-tool use. The role requires normal visual acuity and hearing, frequent hand use, and occasional movement or lifting of materials under 25 lbs
