If so, we have just the job for you! We are currently seeking an entry level quality inspector and are willing to train the right candidate!
Essential Duties Include
  • Working alongside other inspectors identifying and addressing quality issues
  • Perform first piece, in process, final shipment and packing inspections.
  • Proposing recommendations for improvement
  • Documenting inspection results
  • Identify and document non-conforming material and products.
  • Reading drawing and work instructions
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with quality
  • Ability to work alone and on a team
  • Identify and document non-conforming material and products
  • Basic Math, reading, and writing
  • Basic Knowledge of MS Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of PCB’s, cabling, and wire harnesses a plus, but not required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, reports, and documents.  Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.  The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Operation of or proximity to materials and mechanical parts, most commonly moving machinery used in manufacturing of electronic & cable products. OSHA approved safety glasses with side shields are provided by EmCom at no cost to employees.  ANSI Z87-2 prescription glasses will be provided to the employee at no cost. The noise level in the building is moderate, hearing protection is available to employees. Some processes use leaded and unleaded solder chemistries. Proper ventilation and Personal Protective Equipment is provided.
