Quality Inspector
Location: Russells Point, OH
Pay: $17.27 per hour
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 5:45 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM - 1:30 AM
- 3rd Shift: 9:15 PM - 6:00 AM
Position Summary
As a Quality Inspector, you will help ensure products meet customer quality standards by inspecting, sorting, and evaluating parts in manufacturing environments. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in developing skills in quality inspection and manufacturing operations. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, sort, and evaluate parts according to customer and company quality standards.
- Identify and separate nonconforming products using established work instructions.
- Perform basic production activities and accurately enter data into company systems.
- Use measuring devices and inspection tools to verify product quality (training provided).
- Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate quality concerns, defects, or process issues to supervisors and team leaders.
- Adapt to changing production needs and work at various customer locations as assigned.
- Meet attendance, productivity, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work in manufacturing and production environments.
- Ability to travel locally to customer sites when required.
Preferred
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or quality inspection experience.
- Experience using basic measuring tools or conducting visual inspections.
