Quality Inspector

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:30 AM 3:45 PM | Friday, 6:30 AM 11:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join an established manufacturing company. This position is responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical and electrical components throughout the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and finished products.

• Conduct mechanical and electrical testing using precision measuring equipment.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters, and other inspection tools.

• Document inspection results, identify defects, and report nonconforming materials.

• Maintain accurate quality records and update ERP systems.

• Perform first-piece inspections and support final product testing.

• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

• Ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Experience using mechanical and electrical measuring instruments.

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Understanding of quality control procedures and ISO 9001 standards.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Soldering experience is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
