Quality Lab Technician (Manufacturing)

3-2-3 rotating shift
4:30am to 4:30pm - NO nights

Job Description:
Sets up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation such as automated titrators, gas chromatograph, spectrophotometer, centrifuge, agitators, chemical balance, pH meters, and other equipment
· Test raw material, in-process, and final products for conformity to specifications per standard procedures
· Accurately record and maintain test results for all required analyses in written or database formats
· Calibrate laboratory instruments and maintain quality system records
· Write test reports describing procedures and results as needed
· Clean, maintain and troubleshoot analytical and laboratory equipment as needed
· Collect samples from the production process
· Maintain lab supplies
· Prepare, package, and ship laboratory samples
· Perform routine/non-routine housekeeping jobs as required to keep area clean and safe
· Prepare standards and reagents when needed
· Prepare Shipping Packages when needed
· Prepare labels for Totes and Drums when needed
· Change out pressurized gas cylinders as needed for GC and other Lab analysis
